    Yes I've been very lucky, my income increased by £5K pa and I've put it towards the debt together with cutting back and lots of other things suggested.

    I've also just got a new job in the same company with a 1K increase with a review after 6 months after all the training I have to do, so I'm well chuffed, but I have worked my butt off

    Hmmm. Surely its the free income vrs debt ratio that is ultimately more important. Those that earn big salaries can also have little free income if they have big mortgages, school fees, child care fees, high transport costs.

    Then again a footballer on 3 million a year with a footballers wife spending 3.1 million is still in debt.

    Debt at highest May 2004 - £65,639.22 :eek:
    Started DMP with CCCS 1st June 2004 - Best decision I ever made!!!!!

    Debt now July 2006 £55829.85 and still with CCCS
    Debt Free Date - 24th Jan 2016 :j
