You could be pernickity and say that technically if you took them up on the 2 bottle offer you'd be 50p or so out of pocket on the confectionary purchase.. but I think that these are, for once, very fair assignments from RE. 5 mins in the shop, 20 mins max on the (unusually brief!) questionnaire, 2 bottles of wine, a bar of chocolate AND a small fee... it's a win win, and will make for a cheerful Friday night for this shopper
That is good news cherry, was about to go and check that out myself, its a good Friday and Saturday for this shopper :beer:It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Sure thing will pm you now, but I can't work out the 'double glazing company' thing, maybe cos I've had 3 glasses of wine!0 -

Was the 24th available as a shop date for you? The two assignments I've chosen could only be shopped from the 26th onwards, it's a pity as that sounds like a good deal.:(Competition Wins :j :

Just submitted my report for a french sanwich place for RE. Have received an email about a proof reading query and that I need to call them, but their offices are shut. I know what it is - they are almost definitely querying the spelling of croissanterie - but when that is a word unique to the french sandwich place and is not in their dictionary I think this is a bit unfair. I spelt it exactly as in the question.
Will they accept this and will I get docked marks?
And when are their offices open? lol
The phone lines are open during office hours (9-5 I think) but often they work out of hours and proof read without the phones on.
I was online when I got a proof reading query emailed on Friday evening and rang straight away but the phones were off. I emailed back and said I was home yesterday evening and most of the weekenend, but nobody has rang me back yet. I did say I'll ring them when I get home Monday afternoon when I get home, but I bet I still get points docked for being uncontactable
I don't know why they can't email the problem or try and ring you. If they'd rang me on Friday evening, they could have cleared off the report, or if they'd emailed the problem, I would have replied quickly and they could have cleared it off at their convenience. Here I go again on my own....0 -

I have had proof reading queries from RE and they were all requesting explanations to answers (the answers were all in the questionnaires, if their proof readers had bothered to proof read properly!) . I always tell them that I do not expect to see points deducted because (and give the reason). It has always worked despite them telling me that points are deducted automatically. I'm afraid I get annoyed with their unnecessary queries and tell them nicely but firmly what I expect rather than ask! Tell them you have been available over the weekend so you don't expect to be deducted points. Likewise if the query is information you have already provided.

Same I had one of their people emailling me all week asking me to clairfy points, two of them were in the comment boxes, the third to be fair wasnt, but it was a timing question which didnt ask for a comment after (most unusually for them), Id tried phoning but the contact was out of the office. :rolleyes:It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Re-read the assignment notes. You can buy what you want providing it includes the stipulated items.0 -
