Anyone doing a RE off-licence job this week? I've got 2 booked .. you have to purchase a specific bottle of wine, plus either a bar of chocolate or a 500g bottle of branded cola.
Well, I've just been into my local corner shop (which, I should add, is NOT the same chain as the off licence) and the specified wine in there is £8.40 a bottle which is more far more than the TOTAL reimbursement on offer! So I hope the off-licence chain has it on offer or else I won't be completing the job, no way am I buying a bottle of wine for that price if I'm not getting reimbursed in full for it!We’ve had to remove your signature. Don't worry, your corner shop is being incredibly cheeky charging that for the specified wines! Not been into the chain but the wine necessary for purchase is on offer for 3 for £10 so individually, probably only a slightly inflated £4.99 ish, your reimbursement should totally cover it.0 -
Hey Guys
I've bored myself silly with trying to see any jobs with aba i. They have not responded to my email either.
Thanks to all for your help and patience
However GfK did respond and have given me a few new membership bingo jobs
Only problem is a couple of weeks ago I signed up on line with the same company - you know one of those deals where they give you more money to play and cash back too!
The brief states you must not have been in a bingo hall before - which I have not.
The question is can I apply for the job? I have sent an email but not had an answer to my question. Although I have had another email adding another Bingo job to my available jobs!!
thanks in advance0 -

I've got one of the jobs myself and the specified wine is usually about £5/6 each but very often this is on the 3 for £10 deal so I'm quite happy to do it as I quite like the wine anywayI think your local corner shop is over pricing it slightly!!

Just submitted my report for a french sanwich place for RE. Have received an email about a proof reading query and that I need to call them, but their offices are shut. I know what it is - they are almost definitely querying the spelling of croissanterie - but when that is a word unique to the french sandwich place and is not in their dictionary I think this is a bit unfair. I spelt it exactly as in the question.
Will they accept this and will I get docked marks?
And when are their offices open? lol0 -
It won't be for the spelling, it'll be for something you've already told them.
Send them an email and ask them to call you - their fees are not high enough for you to be chasing them about.0 -
One more thing on the wine shop assignments.... i've just had a look at their website and one of the wines specified is on special offer @ 2 for £6 until 24th of this month and after that, will be 3 for £9 ... so not a bad assignment at all 'perks' wise considering there is a fee, albeit small, on top.
You could be pernickity and say that technically if you took them up on the 2 bottle offer you'd be 50p or so out of pocket on the confectionary purchase.. but I think that these are, for once, very fair assignments from RE. 5 mins in the shop, 20 mins max on the (unusually brief!) questionnaire, 2 bottles of wine, a bar of chocolate AND a small fee... it's a win win, and will make for a cheerful Friday night for this shopper0
