  • I'd want more money than that to get a credit check done!!! At least I would at the moment as I am trying to arrange a remortgage and don't want lots of checks appearing on my credit file - I'd want a really good fee to chance that!

I agree 100% I would definitely not even consider doing one of these at the moment, the economy being the way it is, noone knows whats just around the corner.

That said, and to put RE and their paltry fees into perspective, i've done a couple of credit check ones in the past for other companies and have received £75-£100 in fees per assignment, granted these were quite in-depth and lengthy loan assignments but the fee was most definitely in proportion to what was undertaken.

Anyone even considering doing these had better have a bulletproof credit record and full confidence in their financial future. Credit card and finance companies can, and do, turn people down for credit purely based on the number of searches carried out on their credit file within a 6 month period.

Me too. I have done similar assignments for triple the fee and I would not even consider doing one for less because of the work envolved and the fact it will impact on your credit report.

Truly awful fees RE - What cheek.

If anyone is contemplating working with RE - well here's your proof of how little shame they have and how little respect they have for mystery shoppers.

Hi, was just wondering if anyone has done any work with RQA Europe??

I'm registered but haven't done anything for them as yet so don't know what they're like!

I think I'm with at least twenty five MS companies now but some you just never hear from!! I'm updating my list next weekend and going to get in touch with ones I've not heard from, as it's coming up to twelve months since I started MS again, so thought it was a good time to sort through everything.

    Hi,

Anyone have any idea how to get an RSS feed of only this thread - not the entire 'Up Your Income' forum?

    Thanks in advance
