  • Bit of a whinge.
I've just logged on to sign up for a few burger jobs on GFK but just noticed & realised that the reimbursement doesn't cover the cost of the meals in my area . I thought that normally you would get full reimbursement for your purchases. I'm only talking 40p-50p difference but if I did a lot of these jobs then it would soon add up.
Total contradiction because I'm not complaining about buying a meal for 50p but then again I am!!!!!!!:rotfl::rolleyes:

Looking to join RE - pm me if you want me to use your referral link. First come first served! Hope I'm allowed to post this request here, just didn't see the point in signing up and no-one getting the chance to get anything from it!
Never regret anything....'cos at one time it was exactly what you wanted...

How busy do people expect MS to be? I ask because I'm only restarted mystery shopping in Jan. Are you talking pages of jobs being available? being rushed off your feet? I'd just be interested in what "busy" is considered to be!
I started in Oct 2007 and after a couple of months and being with quite few companies, I was working a 6 day week. In my quitest day I would do 6 jobs and my busiest day ever I did 18 jobs (including one shopping centre which had 11 on its own). I had very limited time during the day so did not take everything that was on offer!
The past 3 months, it has been much much quiter. Lot less work is coming out and when it does you have 30 seconds to get it.
Long gone are the premiums we were offered on last minute work and the list of jobs that use to stay there for days until you decide "I am going that way today".
Just last june, there has not been a single day that I did not have at least 4 GFK jobs in my list. I'll be lucky if I see that in a week now. Gr has always the full 50 in no longer available jobs now it is down to 13. Checking my emails was exciting as there was always an allocator with some new project asking if I could do the visit. Now, I know for a fact that many retailers have stopped their MS program until it gets better. The CHEAP rest have gone to RE and up for grabs by millions of us and not even worth the trouble.
The only companies that are still worth working for are the ones that don't recruit the whole planet and don't rely on fff.
There is still some work but there are just too many of us trying to get it.
I am happy to take it much easier, as it was taking over my life. It is a LLLLOOOOTTTS of hard work for what it pays.

Just got a rather suspicious email from Hanseatic-Mystery Shopping saying they are looking for mystery shoppers. They are based in Masurenallee (wherever that is). I guess English isn't their first language, going by the grammatical errors - or is that just because they are scammers and we all know how much scammers pride themselves on good grammar, don't we?

Just thought I'd mention it - please do let me know if they are actually legit., but I think this is one for the trash can! Oddly enough all they ask for up front are name, address and phone number, but I guess the rest comes later.

I can't vouch for how legit they are, but I can tell you their first language is most likely German, and they are most likely based in northern Germany. Masurenallee will most likely be the street they are on.

Snap! I got the same, went automatically into the Spam folder and I think that's how I'll treat it. NO website mentioned just contact details and bank account name.... I'm tempted just to reply and see what happens.
