You input the number of sheets printed, miles travelled etc. and it works out your profit/loss. FABULOUS!:j

I know this will have been mentioned countless times before. However, I feel the need to rant about it again.

Why-oh-why must MS companies insist that we get a receipt for jobs like burgers and pizzas? I did a pizza assignment today for Gap. An express pizza assignment. The moment I mentioned a receipt the service went sky high in terms of performance. Kerching! Mystery shopper - must be nice to them!

Hardly reflective of day-to-day service now is it? Do these companies want accurate reports of their staff? Or just proof that we conducted the visit like we said we did? (Sod the fact that there were countless CCTV cameras beaming down on me and my providing left and right info).

    Rant over!

Totally agree. Why can't we pay by card, then we get a receipt and it doesnt draw attention to us!

I owe someone a huge thanks, I have looked back but cannot find the right part in the thread, someone has emailed me a fantastic spreadsheet for 'mystery shopping'.

A HUGE thank you, whoever you are

I wouldn't mind a wee copy of this either, been keeping a track of shops on a spreadsheet but haven't included print costs etc.....

Could you send me a copy, pls

    Much appreciated

I suspect it's probably my spreadsheet as I've sent it out to loads of people now, can't remember everyone and often people's email addresses bear no resemblance to their "names" on here!

Just PM me your email address and I'll send you a copy. Good time to get organised, being the start of the new financial year.

I agree - the best thing about them is their interactive reporting, IMO. If the question says "did they smile, if not, what did they do" and you select "yes", then the comments field disappears! Having said that, I don't think GFK actually ask silly questions so they wouldn't expect a comment on that I guess...

Morning all, Just wanted to ask about bare points system, not done a job for them yet, but going to keep trying. Some of the jobs say shopper rating must be 8 - so hw many points do you get per job - is it 1pt ? Thanks

You are given points based soley upon the quality of your report (well, that and depending on how the marker is feeling/what side of bed they got our on/whether he "got some" last night/what time of month it is).

    HTHs.

The "normal" mark seems to be 8, but I've had a 10 and a couple of 9's. Also had a 6 which I was p**sed off about.
