They can stay like that for ages. In theory, they disappear from your list if they are assigned to someone else, but there are car circuits in my list as 'pending' from last month. If they assign the job to you, then you will receive an email.

With Bare, most people have found that they apply for jobs and then never hear anything from them, so I wouldn't count on them for work. They rang me up after I applied for a car circuit, and asked me to do some from outside my area, which I did, and have been accepted for quite a few other jobs since. Other people have had a similar experience I think.

I got myself barred from burger jobs because I answered the screening questions quickly and got some wrong! Oh well, its probably for the best, particularly as I'm on some medication atm which is messing up my blood fat and cholesterol levels, so I have to watch what I eat.
