    Welcome back everyone :)

Anyone else struggling to complete the discount store report for Aba-i? 830 Characters only to "describe the entire visit"!
I didn't go on to describe the whole visit in the 830 characters. I just pointed out the good and bad points. Unfortunately there were no good points, only bad, so there you go. Quite easy!

I did my second car circuit for Bare this weekend, (7 car showrooms in one day) and got 9 on each of the reports so fingers crossed I might even get a flight from them. Some of the showrooms were so bad though, one man refused to give me a price until I took a test drive, and told me I was crazy. Delightful, really wanted to walk out, but managed not to.
Did you not just tell them you had already driven a friends etc and had decided to buy ?

I walked out of one, where they refused to give me a discount unless i signed up for the buying the car at the full price, then the manager may offer a discount.!! and wrote up and got an 8 for that report lol

Gap and MSE both unavailable simultaneously over the weekend for "major" upgrades. Conspiracy theories anyone?
You're a week out! Gap is going to be down NEXT weekend.

Why accept a job with no fee please try not to MS companies will do it more often making them richer and us with less.....
Some jobs like petrol, meals out etc. I don't mind there not being a fee. I'd buy petrol or go out to eat anyway so getting some or all of the money back for it is a bonus. I'm not expecting to make millions MS-ing!

Obviously, they wouldn't have provided any reasons, but can you think of any - too many queries for the past few jobs/high degree of rescheduling or cancellation/anything else in particular about the stamp jobs you've done in the past ??? It's quite difficult to get around Gap and their ways

Someone else got sacked from the stamp jobs. She wondered if she'd done too many. Have you done loads of them and they've taken you off them maybe?
I got taken off (I wouldn't use the word "sacked") Gap stamp shops last year because I'd done all my local ones too often and they wanted a change of face.

    Thanks CTE1111, will do.

Is anyone else having trouble with RE? It's very slow
I had trouble with it this morning. Took ages for my report to save and kept finishing at 61%. I had to go through the whole saving and adding comments and spellchecking process about 6 times before it actually decided it wanted to proceed to the next stage. Time and effort not worth the £5 earned.
Same here. Did a pub lunch, it took ages to load, ages to accept each bit and then froze at 61%. I was in Firefox so switched to IE and it was still slow but did get it finished. And now the same job is showing uo four times in pending payments - won't mind if they don't pick up on that LOL!! :T

Yes I said that my sister in law had one, which is what I've been saying in all of them. He still said I had to take a test drive, as the model has changed this month, then I said that I had been in their other branch (which I had on the previous circuit) and tried it there, but he still wasn't happy. All I could get was free metallic paint, and that was cos they had one in stock that they were trying to get rid of. I think the fact that the Grand National was on at the time meant that all the half decent salesmen were in the back watching it, and so I was left with this chippy guy. He had a badge with Used Car Sales on it, so think he usually only sold the used cars. Kind of wished the report was going to back to his own company so they would re-train him.

yey people are staying away from the crappy no fee jobs on RE, we have the power to make them pay us for our work. RE will put a fee on if we dont accept or they will lose their clients. It used to be just a clothes shop now its spread to a drinking place where next?

Dont let them get away with it, dont accept no fee jobs unless your actually going to buy from there!

(ps sorry rant over just annoyed with no fees in jobs and when jobs go in seconds)

We seem to be split 50/50 on this from the comments I can read recently - sorry!

I don't know if this will help anyone and the more experienced may have better information but I was only accepted with the above at the end of Feb 09. I received a welcome email which invited me to call or email if I had any difficulty.
I can not remember why but I did call the person and during the conversation I found out I needed to register a voice recording as an English speaker.
I don't think I would have known to do this if I had not called them. I straight away applied for a car circuit and was assigned.
    Hope this helps someone
    ;)

Thanks, it will certainly help me, I was wondering why I wasn't getting any jobs too. I didn't know about that. Where do you do it?

Some of the no fee jobs are ok. I don't mind no fee for petrol jobs or a nice meal out but I won't do no fee jobs which are a pub meal with no choice of food & drink & a low reimbursement. I think commonsense must prevail!

Sadly that looks to be true: Though it does say "prefered" so you may get offered another route.

The flights are only for one. you can take others but they must pay.

They now seem to want the results within 24 hrs at each destination.

Read my post for the details.
If they did do this, it wouldn't be a problem for me. The route I wanted to apply for would take me to visit my sister, so I'd blag use of her pc to do the questions. As long as it's 24hrs from touchdown, and not 24 hrs from take-off, or from when you have to be in the airport, as that might not get you to where you want to be!

All academic for me anyway, since I haven't got the shopper rating to be able to apply
