Would love love love a flight with BARE, but unfortunately they still haven't given me a job to get my shopper rating over the usual 5, so I can't even apply for them!

I applied for Bare jobs for a over year before I got one - and I think that was only because someone let them down. After I'd completed a few jobs and got good ratings I did a few flights for them (on the previous airline). I've now done one of these new flights and have another one to do shortly. I don't do many jobs for them these days, but when I do I make sure I'm reliable and get high ratings, particularly on the flight jobs.

It's true you don't get much for expenses, but I'm lucky that I've got friends in a few of the locations, so no accommodation costs. On the occasions that I've flown to other destinations I've found cheap deals or used airmiles for accommodation. I like to travel so these flights are real treats to me.

Hang on in there and keep applying for the less popular jobs - when you get one, do it well and it might be you getting a flight next time. Good luck :)

Fingers crossed you may be OK. I did an horrendous stamp job about 2 months ago and GAP called me to query and I thought - this is it. I explained the staff member really was that bad and I actually apologised. She said "Don't apologise, your paid to give good feedback - that is exactly what were looking for". Every question she asked I said No to. At the end we were both laughing. Apparently they had had problems with this particular staff member before. You may find that there have been problems with this pizza place before as well. Fingers crossed and let us know how it goes x

I sent them an email over the weekend to say that I hoped this wouldn't affect me getting offered jobs in the future and they replied back to say 'Of course not!' so fingers crossed it will be ok... come to think of it, I gave them a complete report for the pizza place and they didn't have to pay me for it cos it was reimbursement only so I guess they didn't really lose anything!

Had a much better weekend though, had absolutely loads to do this weekend and got a fantastic haircut and a great meal out last night - so all is well :) Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

Someone else got sacked from the stamp jobs. She wondered if she'd done too many. Have you done loads of them and they've taken you off them maybe?

    Me too :(

V annoyed as that's my free ebay postage gone .

I've never had any queries from them but have done a fair few so think that must be it. A bit rotten that they have stopped me doing any - I can understand rationale of stopping me doing local ones, but I have done them 100's of miles away when away with work .

Still, did a well known pub chain for RE today, hopefully I'll get access to more jobs with them now. Nice dinner & G&T :D
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I did my second car circuit for Bare this weekend, (7 car showrooms in one day) and got 9 on each of the reports so fingers crossed I might even get a flight from them. Some of the showrooms were so bad though, one man refused to give me a price until I took a test drive, and told me I was crazy. Delightful, really wanted to walk out, but managed not to.

I enjoyed my casino visit last night, service was really slow in the restaurant, and no tour either, but quite a nice night, and won £20, so that paid for the babysitter at least.

On the casino jobs that are mentioned above. Did you do the main one or the competitor. I did a competitor one and didn't get a tour, a free drink or anything. I didn't even need to become a member. When I arrived there was no one on reception and the doorman said that as we were over 22 years old we didn't need a membership and we were just let in. We did end up going to the restaurant and getting a drink for the bar and played, of course, so I can do most of the questionnaire but the rest is lacking.

    Welcome back everyone :)

Anyone else struggling to complete the discount store report for Aba-i? 830 Characters only to "describe the entire visit"!

I did a competitor one. I cut and pasted 'Was not offered tour' into all the relevant boxes. Just write up what you can, and then put standard negative responses for the others, hopefully they will be pleased to see how rubbish their competitors staff were.

I had trouble with it this morning. Took ages for my report to save and kept finishing at 61%. I had to go through the whole saving and adding comments and spellchecking process about 6 times before it actually decided it wanted to proceed to the next stage. Time and effort not worth the £5 earned.
