Wondering if anyone could help me at short notice here as I'm a little confused!!
Am doing a stamp job - the one where you have to take in a change of address form and birth certificate.
The form arrived with a covering letter which said the full details are on website.
No more details on website though so am looking for someone who has done this scenario! I emailed Gap and they replied asking if I had received the documents yet??? I already explained that I had received the form with a letter but needed clarification! So I emailed them back but they haven't replied and I'm doing this job in the morning
Basically the form tells you to refer to a leaflet befiore filling it in but I can't find the leaflet on any websites..
Does it matter too much exactly what I fill in on this form since it should be rejected anyway? I'm not sure if section 3 on identity should be left blank completely as I should be getting the identity checked?
Hoping someone could clarify for me!!
Is the the one where you are doing the change of address for somebody else? If so, the assistant will reject you form cos the actual applicant has to take it in. They probably won't even get as far as looking at the form once you say 'can you just check this change of address form for my husband, partner etc?'
Just complete the details of new address(doesn't matter what address you put, the form won't go anywhere), name etc and stick a photo onto the form. Its a really easy job - you don't even have to buy anything as, unusualy, Gap don't ask for a receipt as proof that you've done the job!
Gaps instructions are not very clear - and there isn't any other info on the website. They don't send you the guidance notes that DVLC would have normally given you either.ELITE 5:2

Thanks tbw,
It isn't the scenario where it's for someone else, it's for me and I presume they should just reject it straight away because I don't have my passport0 -

The one I did on Monday was the same, I think. It was for me, but not change of address, it was to apply for a card 'thing' instead of a paper 'thing'.
The idea is that you have forgotten to take any proof of ID (ie no passport driving licence etc). The first question I got was 'Is it for you?' and then "Have you brought your passport?' I got no further than that, although the lady was very nice and explained what I needed to do.
Very simple job - but as has been said, the notes are not clear at all. The brief said they would send instructions in the post but all I got was the blank form to fill in and a letter giving me the phone number to ring in the unlikely event that my application was accepted.
To clarify - yes it should be rejected immediately because you have not brought your passport with you.0 -
I got a email from them with a list of jobs in the UK needing done and this was what it said. I was quite surprised they agreed to the fee on each of them. But heyho! Happy days!!
If you are interested in any of the visits, please do email the VIN, as well as the date on which you are able to complete the assessment (no later than Monday 23rd March). The normal fee is £xx; however, we can negotiate on this depending on mileage and travel costs when you contact us.So glad to hear she is OK tizzy.
Did gfk email you there are jobs available ladada or did you just log in on spec.:A The toughest form of mountain climbing, is getting out of the rut! :A0 -

HOW TO GET FULL BRIEFINGS FROM GAP WEBSITE
Open Internet Explorer (other browsers corrupt the data). Log in to website. Go to 'my assignments' and highlight and copy the number of the assignment.
Go to 'web express' and enter this number. Click on 'see assignment paper' or some such wording. Your briefing should appear.Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Ems query coming up - what is an 'e-catalogue'. I've done my survey and this is one of the last questions. 'Did the website have an e-catalogue'
I'm confused, I would have thought a website is an e-catalogue. Anyone help out (it's for flowers btw)
ThanksNow proud Mumto3 :j0 -
Hi Mumto3; here's an example of an e-catalogue on the M&S website: http://www.marksandspencer.com/gp/node/n/63556031/277-8605748-4669015?intid=gnav_shopall_ECatalogues
I guess they mean that type of thing....waste of time IMO, why not just have it on a page like normal!

Thanks Johnny - can't see the point in those myself, but at least I can answer my question now. :j
Next question coming up - what can I email customers services to ask about re flowers?
I'm having a really thick day (been up since silly o clock with dogs/baby  ) but really need to get these down while little one is sleeping. I can't seem to think of any questions that I wouldn't just find out on the website.
ThanksNow proud Mumto3 :j0 -
Can't you ask them to confirm it really will be delivered in time, or ask if they deliver on a Sunday? Or ask the latest time you can place an order to guarantee delivery by Mothers' Day? Or ask how many stems of a particular flower come in a certain bouquet???0

Cheers Scaredy Cat, have been using the delivery question for my phone calls. Have now emailed asking how many stems in the bouquet lol
.
Thanks allNow proud Mumto3 :j0
