If you've got the songs already you just need to transfer them from a PC to the phone, i used to use the infra-red port on my laptop to send songs to my phone, or a bluetooth dongle but that was much more messy to use.2p off is still 2p off!0

Thanks for the reply

No, I used to have a D500 and had about 10 songs on there (not much else, just a few photos) and that was fine, still room as well. No doubt the D600 is much bigger, does it not have extra memory via the memory card too?2p off is still 2p off!0

In fact it was much nearer 20 songs on it.2p off is still 2p off!0

There is no memory card, but there is a slot for it.
I found a ring tone of a song I like but it is 96kbps. Is this too low?
I am hoping that I do not have to install the software only the usb driver.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

The D500 had an internal memory of 80mb, I think the D600 has 72 which should still allow you store a fair few songs, getting a memory card will allow you to obviosuly store a lot more. HTH.2p off is still 2p off!0

96kbps shouldn't be too low, quality is a bit poor but you won't notice it that much on a phone, maybe on a CD player. Not sure about the software, I just used to use infra-red, was a bit slow but worked perfectly fine for me.2p off is still 2p off!0
