Hi there
Give them another ring hun, unfortunately this had happened to us as well "twice" with them, just ask them if they have this directly to give to you over the phone now as the 5 days have gone by.;) Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"

5 working days from last Monday can be assumed to start on Tuesday, so you should have had it today (Monday). If nothing by tomorrow morning ring them and quote the OFCOM regs to them.No free lunch, and no free laptop

This is great then, because when we tried it was not easy, even though due to the messing about from also the other provider we decided to stay in the end, and with staying Aol gave us a free month and a better package.;) All worked out pretty well apart from waiting for the mac code at the time.
Did go though a time calling them AO-Hell.......
, sometimes I still do, especially if the puter goes down...... I blame then lmao.:D
Now 2 years on we are thinking about changing, not for definate yet, so hopefully if we do we will receive the mac code the same day, fingers crossed, thanks folks and I'm sure the O/P will appreciate this as well.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

So if I need to cancel my AOL I just ring them and ask for a mac code? What do I need that for? Need to ditch AOL as my computer's forever freezing up with them and don't know the procedure for doing this.
Is there a helpline number I could ring, and if so, what is it please?
Thanks.0 -
You need a MAC to migrate to your new ISP. But you will have to give AOL notice and you will need to be out of contract, otherwise you will have to pay up the balance on it to end of contract.
I would try and get your connection sorted out before you ditch them, it might be just as bad with another ISP (though I doubt it).
