Just told my mum, not sure how she took it? I'll ring her again tomoz, seemed OK, just worried about me and the OH I guess
I think my Mum would be the same as she is now if I told her I was on drugs or something. (I'm not). It's something I am dealing with and I know I have her support, but there is an unspoken agreement that I don't bring it up in conversation. I hope your Mum is better than mine after she gets over what could well be just plain and simple shock.

any mums concern should be the health and wellbeing of thier children, not wondering if they owe a bank a few quid**, jesus threw the moneylenders out of the temple didnt he?...

**especially when the bank itself has blown millions....and paid bonuses to bosses for doing it!

Absolutely! But because she disagrees is no reason for foul mouthing ones mum. Jesus did throw the money lenders out of the temple but that was because they were using a place meant for worshipping His Father, as a marketplace, as many churches do today.

despite all the "church roof appeals" who do you think is one of the biggest land and property owners in this country?

and we wont mention the vatican city
  • Jellygirl ( love the name) Got to say you are right .. but I have to say not all churches are like that.
Was well depressed on Sunday becuase I was being, once again condemed by my family for the financial mess my company got in ( over 100k personal debts) so thought I'd find a place where there was no condemnation.. a local church. What I found there was a very warm welcome and learnt of all the things they were doing for drop outs, druggies homeless people and the like.. it was Christianity in action and I like it a lot... and it was all funded by the church itself my them giving generously.. if only I had given my 100k to that church think what they could have with it!

Sorry to hear you're Mother hasn't taken it well. I'm dreading telling my Dad about what's going on. He called me tonight to ask how I was and how my house rewiring is doing and I just couldn't muster up the courage to tell him that I'm going to have it repossessed. I'm calling NR tomorrow morning as advised by NDL so I think I'll call him after that. Get it all over with in one hit. The NR call is going to be bad enough

Good luck Veersix. I hope you are pleasantly surprised.
  • Churches ,banks, government, and Columbian drug dealers, all selling the same> stuff Utopia, with a price.

I have no time for any of these sort of womders. "I am a not for changing"

The banks I hold with upmost contempt, full stop. T

he Church and it's mery bunch of followers are ok ish as long as they understand my slant on evolution.

The Government( which ever one) are not from the real world and simply do not understand what real people want and will bow down to the back handers and those who live without morals.

The Columbian drug dealers are in fact part of America and Europes biggest asset.

I am BR and have no problem with it," Bankrupcty is the new black" quote I can't remember who said it on here but I like it. Thank you to whoever it was.

So rest easy and without guilt:A :A :D  :p:confused: and all the rest.
Regards rant of the day. Hoos;)
