    Morning :D
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

    Morning all......

Yes Lou, i agree, we need to not focus on the negatives, we have lots to be thankful for... hope you're work is okay this week hun... and get in there and take advantage of free gym! wow!!!

To all the runners/exercisers - happy fitness! I have a 3miler tonight, legs not feeling too bad today after the weekend... i laid off the squats at the gym on saturday morning which helps.... i have thighs like a russian shot putter anyway!!!

To crazy - relaaaax, 2 days to go, so make the most of it! i like the sound of carrot muffins though, with butter cream on top??

    Morning :)

I need to snap out of my sad mood too, so I will be joining in the positive thinking today.

    So - some good things:

I got Ryan to school with no shouting despite him being very 'asperger-y' today
I only need to clean the kitchen and do some washing today, all the other housework is pretty much up to date
I ran a looooong way yesterday and my ankle hurts - BUT - I really want to run again! I can't till Wednesday, and even then it will be at the gym (which I find so dull now I'm running outside again), but how exciting that I'm desperate to run again so soon after my longest run ever!

I had carrot muffins (I've just had to correct that from 'puffins' :rotfl:) with ginger buttercream-type stuff on top once - they were goooooorgeous!

Maz, I have 'generous' thighs too - how on earth do people get them slim and toned?? Even when I was skinny I had big thighs. :D

  • Must agree that carrot muffins do not appeal!

This weather does make one feel more positive. I have had 2 virtual kicks up the backside over the weekend (and I am truly grateful for them) and I WILL be positive and pro-active today.

i think it's a girl thing... running can't hurt them...

i want to be able to see daylight between my thighs!! i don't mind how muscle-ey the fronts are, just as long as there is daylight!! lol!!!

I've swapped to a different pair that don't give me blisters, but my sorbothane thingies don't fit in them. They are so comfortable but I think I need to still look for some more that I can wear the insoles with.

My ankle is just a weak point though - it doesn't really bother me whilst I'm running, it's just afterwards, when it stiffens up. Maybe I need some sort of ankle support bandage thing?

Everything else has recovered really quickly, very little muscle soreness.

And no - it hasn't arrived yet - but my arm strap has arrived this morning, so I now have ALL the accessories I ordered but not the iPod! :rotfl:
