Tesco and 6 deals per customer!!

I've got mixed feelings on this one. There's no question that Tesco lady deserves a P45 but I do get annoyed when people shovel all the whoopsies in their trolleys before anyone else gets a look in. You'd have to really love grapes to get through five out of date packs of them, even if you did give some to your mum.
Perhaps they could restrict customers to two of each item, i.e. you can have two bags of grapes, two lots of mushrooms etc so that other shoppers get a chance? The fridge is empty, the walls are damp, there's no hot water
And I look like a tramp and tramps like us

Nothing that I can think of that is illegal about it. It is there to ensure availability for all.
Personally, I hate it. The whole point of what I do is fill a shop with stuff you want to buy - refusing a sale just seems wrong somehow. And on most every day items I would never restrict a "sensible" amount. Requires a certain amount of common sense too - would be inappropriate to restrict cans of beans, say, when it would be perfectly reasonable to buy more than six for a family shop and the stock holding is such to cope with this demand.
Only time I ever really enforce it myself is with fresh bakery bread - Wiping out an entire mornings production of baguettes at 07.05 because you did not place an order is not going to happen I'm afraid!
As to the Op's situation, makes no sense to me. Any store wants reduced product sold as quickly as possible at the least reduction possible.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0
