Hi if no inventory was done the letting agent/landlord cant make reductions for condition as they cant prove the condition on check in

If they did you can appeal it
Your landlord/letting agent did protect your deposit in a scheme ? didnt they ?

Is there a particular reason you are concerned ?

If you can ask the question so that people can understand it, we might help.

You should leave the property in the same condition as let to you, save for fair wear and tear, & take photos of the property in detail before you leave (also for the meters when you take final readings).Your LL cannot simply make a unilateral decision to deduct from your deposit. He has to notify you of any proposed deductions in writing and if you don't agree then you can challenge him, either via the courts or through the tenancy deposit scheme (if you are in E&W and your deposit was paid after 6 Apr 2007).

Do you know whether your deposit has been scheme-registered?
