Hugs for your Nan Dusty - did they not phone anyone to say she'd gone to hospital again?

L-L - I'll give BB a big hug from you all when I pick her up.

Car washed and gleaming. The clothes I was wearing are in the washing machine - they got rather wet - I'm not particularly accurate with the hose!

Discovered though, that one of my headlights must have had a stone strike. The glass is broken and only the sidelights appear to be working. That may be the clunk I heard when driving a couple of days ago. Goodness knows how much a new one will cost. I'll probably have to buy a whole unit!

Just having a cuppa then will off and get Beffy-boo

Just phoned the garage. Yes, it's a flipping sealed unit. £155.00 . Have got them to order one though. Takes 3 flipping working days to come. I'd better not do any night driving until then....

They said they tried to phone me a while ago, I was here until 12:30 and have an answerphone to which no message had been left. They is an unknown caller at 13:30 though. They may have left a message at Mum's but she went out at about 11:30 too - the care notes said ambulance called at 10:15. TBH it is no bad thing as she was not getting on at home and the GP came out on Monday and did nothing. Hopefully now the whole situation will be reviewed again, I really do think she is at the care home stage unfortunately.

I bet you are eagar to cuddle BB and will be giving her a little treat for her supper.

SS Happy birthday to your DD

DS3 doesn't want to go swimming - most unusual and he is adament so I'm giving it a miss.

So a cuppa and then back to the toiletries and shoes.

    Dusty thoughts for your nana

Been to Somerset today, just got back, cleaned all the rubbish out of the car. Might wash it tonight or cut the lawn not sure which one will win!! but the other one gets done either Friday night or Saturday!

My stepmother is at it again, having asked me to make a speech at my father's 75th, and got help / advise from you, and started to put something together, she has been on the phone twice last night, she now was me to stop doing that, and do an 'opening welcome' instead!!!:D

Which I know I will find easy to do, in true air hostess style the fire exists are here, here and here with relvant hand movements, the toilets are here, here and here, and the buffet and bar are here here and here!! (job done!!):D :D:D but I do know she means well, but I will be glad when this is all over on the 28th.

BB is home and has had a good cuddle. She's still a little wobbly and is currently on my bed licking her arm where they must have injected her. She has to go back in two weeks to have the stitches out.

I now know what we're all having for dinner tonight. She has to have something bland like chicken and rice, so that's what we'll all have.

Is it too early for a G&T?
