Being single has its advantages
I moved in without one 9 years ago as I couldn't afford either the TV or the licence, and now don't have anywhere to put one! They're ugly things and take up too much space.
I'm not the only one on here who doesn't have one. With DVDs and online repeats you can probably see most things if you really want to.
Hope your OH pays more of the leccy bill that you... 50" TV  bet it's a plasma too ... god knows what his carbon footprint would be
He pays all the bills i am very lucky.
It is a rear projection and as we don't smoke, go out, drink much then the tv is his extravagence laptop and dolce gusto coffee machine is minewould be interested to know what the carbon footprint is though.:D

Somewhere on it will be it's energy rating. From that you can work out how much electricity it uses per hour, multiply that by the number of hours you use it. You can work out the cost based on what you pay for electricity per KwH, and the carbon footprint based on the carbon intensity of your supplier's fuel mix for electricity generation... There's maths involved though0 -
So you. me, Quillion and MO5 all within a stones throw of each otherOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0
