Hello ladies - glad to see your all flying along beautifully!!
My guess is Stripes was either under one of the beds or in a cupboard where its warm - by friends dog used to do that all the time! She used to hide where the hot water tank was and go to sleep. We used to laugh and say she thought she was a cat!!
Cant do much flying from work but I have ordered my Organised Mum bits and bobs!! And have sold, my washing machine, my bed and the bedside cabinets!!! All gone - on ebay! Lady is furnishing her annexe for her mum so am glad it going to someone nice and not a dealer, I hate when they buy your stuff!
Toots, there was no major drama with the shower pole - its one that springs open to hold itself up between the two walls (if that makes sense) - so no actual damage, its just a nuisance cos BF wasnt there and its hard to get back up by myself.
FFP - whats a traffic light sandwich!?
Have also looked at new whirly's but my neighbour said shes getting a new one and I can have hers!!! :j
Im happy to recycle hers!!Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Well the washing up has all been done and the sides and top of the oven have been wiped down too. Half the washing up has been dried and put away, the other half is draining on the rack at the moment.
Must get my proper list so that I can update with a few strikeouts. Here it is:
Mondays are Marvellous!! - kitchen and dining area
Level One
Sweep and mop the floor
[STRIKE]Declutter and wipe the worksurfaces[/STRIKE]
Level Two

[STRIKE]Wipe the units and large appliances[/STRIKE]
Level Three

Good going Twinmummy! My HHC went on longer than planned but have done everything on the list now except for:
Run WM's and DW's through a clean cycle.. don't forget to scrub out the drawers and filters.
Don't have soda crystals or stardrops or white vinegar or anything like that so what can I use for this.Just put it on a wash cycle with nothing in it?
Glad to hear LO is doing well GnB! Can't believe she's already back at school. Kids bounce back so much quicker than adults.0 -
Well, I'm back. Got really panicky in Mr S, it was packed at the checkout area. I've rescued our bank account as a stupid cheque hadn't cleared, the rent made us £71 overdrawn but I had £80 stashed away thanks to my challenges. I also gave £2 to a man who was playing th most beautiful music I have ever heard on a violin. It was so beautiful.
I saw a really bewildered confused man standing on a traffic island in the middle of the road. I was stuck at traffic lights and he was standing there looking around really confused looking. He didn't cross when he could have, and looked totally lost. I went all the way round Guildford one way system to get back to him, parked illegally and ran after him, by which time he was disappearing into the job centre! So then I had to go in a big loop and was stuck behind th very same traffic lights for ages! The whole thing took about twenty minutes! I'm seeing dementia everywhere these days! I'm sure that guy was fine, if not the job centre will have to sort him out.
Am really tired now, have had lunch and am watching Midsomer Murders that I recorded a while ago. Will try to do a few more bits and pieces on my lists later.
Oh, and I saw a dog running loose on the road. It was the same dog I saw loose during snow week. I spent ages trying to catch it, but impossible, so today I left it. It always seems to know where it's going, and it was obeying the highway code! It went down a drive to a farm, so I guess it's girlfriend lives there."Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Well I've just called a school and arranged a visit tomorrow afternoon. I'm working down in Portsmouth tomorrow morning anyway, so it means I won't be going out of my way. It's for a Year 5 maternity cover from 27th April-December 31st, which would be ideal.
Anyway, all of you who would like to join my HHC:

Have you got lemon juice? Squirt a load of lemon juice in the drawer and should help achieve the same thing - and remember to put it on a hot wash xxSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying
