Hi all
Seems I've missed quite a lot whilst I've been AWOL, hugs to everyone who needs them.
I've now moved flat (sorry I forgot how far up to date everyone is). It's much bigger than the other one, and much warmer and less mouldy
Got exams in 6 weeks, so starting to panic, but determined to keep on top of housework, just as soon as we've moved everything up here (the parents are descending upon us next week to help).
Got to do a bit of tidying up now, and then finish writing an essay in french.
Love to everyone

Just had short shrift from DH for interrupting his study time to ask if we were going to MiL's (he'd said earlier we'd go at 5!)
I'll be very glad when his exams are over and we can go back to normal. He has too much on his plate at the moment and can be snappy sometimes...
Soup is made, smells and tastes gorgeous. Just going to wash up then I'll sit down with my bookMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

I'm in the middle of sorting out the DVD's and CD rack. I hate that job:mad:
All I have left to do is - chuck the dog in the bath, cos she stinks and needs de fleaing. I might as well chuck her bedding through the wash too. Finish the DVD's and CD's (don't hold out much hope of completing that tonight though:rolleyes:) and delegate the washing bringing in to someone else cos I'm flippin cream crackered now.

Done the hoovering upstairs now, I dropped the hamster cage complete with hamster and it fell apart :rotfl: littley was more concerned for the hamster, I was more concerned that I had to hoover her room again lol....anyway hamster is fine and we put the cage back together, littley is now playing Beethoven and is making an awful din on the organ I was trying to put in the cupboard.
It's come over all dark outside, glad me washing's in....at least if it rains it'll save me washing the car

I hope DS2 thinks of something he would like.. and DS3 enjoys his taddies!
Pigpen he was so sweet, he took a shoe box from home and filled it with little treasures. Grandma had some small silver items and he is so excited to have something 'valuable'. He also found an old tape measure, metal in a metal case which could have been my Grandfathers (he was a carpenter). DS is doing resistant materials as an option next year so was so keen to have the tape and has spent ages polishing the case. DS3 has the walking stick, a framed picutre of himself and Grandma and her wooden letter openner. They both coped really well. DS2 also found a ring which I think is saphire and diamond which I have never seen her wear, I wonder if it was an engagement ring, sad thing is I will probably never know but I will treasure it none the less until DS3 wants it to give to his wife! Sorry to waffle on but you are all so much more supportive than 'the real world'. xxx
Dinner eaten so time to get the washing in, never got to do any gardening in the end but if I get organised for tomorrow tonight then I should get sometime tomorrow morning. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Tia, I got our last cork board from £ shop. With the certificates, I got a file with plastic pockets in. I pop the certificates in there and then once full the plastic pockets come out, go into a box (because I like to keep them) then new ones are started.
AnW'sMum great to hear W swam again, is this with the new teacher then? Fencings expenside for gardens, we usually use a smaller timber merchant rather than a garden place.....about £1.40 a board I think we paid last time.
Sunnygirl oh heck, you're lucky it wasn't more expensive. Diesel in a petrol one can cause new engine time!
embb calm down :rotfl: I am sure you'll kick butt and get it sorted. Poor ickle hamster!
SarahS entirely understand what you mean, not a hope I'd let my children do that. I suppose some parents don't care as long as the kids are out of their hair.
philb ((hugs)) for you, try not to be so hard on yourself. A less positive ofsted isn't caused by just one person, ever!
Dusty, sounds like your boys are dealing with it quite well. Thinking of you all x
wilf good luck with the fund raising
LG huge hugs xxx
Rach sounds like you've all had a wonderful time, if busy! Wow, you managed to fit so much in I bet you're all worn out.((hugs)) for having to be your DHs person he sounds off at, not fun, at least you know it's not forever and they will be over with soon x
funfairprincess pleased to hear noone is hurt, that sounds like a nightmare
Miss A what a lovely thing to do for your Mum
Well I've eventually managed to get the back lawn cut, first of the year so not as short as it was a bit of a wilderness but will be much easier to do from now. It's just finding the time/energy to do it. Need to put the mower away, did ask DP to before he went to work but guessing he's 'forgot'. Got sick of hearing neighbour out the back, definately likes the sound of his own voice. I do wonder why he has his children on a weekend as all he does is shout/swear at them then you hear him moaning to neighbour he can't go out because of them.
DS1 since dinner has been 'in a one' I've been doing him fish things with veg in for months, always eaten them, today he finds a pea and hit the roof. I think he's more upset that he's been eating them without knowing. He's calmed a little now, gave himself his usual headache from his mood, so sent to my room with a DVD on but complaining of headache (always happens after he gets himself wound up) Actually cancel that he's back downstairs ramming into things deliberately and screeching/screaming/growling looks like we're in for a fun night ..... I am not giving in, I've removed the peas so he's been told he eats it or gets no desert end of.
Washer load done, actually it's still on the line. I suppose I best go get that in (put the mixed pegs away) and the mower put away before it gets darker. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
I'm calm now lil_me
but if I think about it I'll flame up again, so not thinking about it lol
Kaz oh it's fine, it was still asleep after it hit the ground - totally oblivious
Right, off to do something productive.....0 -
Dusty - huge hugs again. When my maternal Grandmother died I chose a silver bowl to remember her by, it always had sweets in when we visited, and we didn't see many sweets at home (health freak mother!). We use it as our fruit bowl and I think of her daily when I look at it. I hope you get some time to garden tomorrow - the hydrangea sounds lovely.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0
