Is there a code or anything to quote to use thr £5 off as I want to place an order with them today?

Sorry no code, it was a voucher. You need to spend £20 to get the £5 off and it only applies instore or via mail order.

Looking closely it says media code EK4 and valid until 15th April. I think the EK4 applies to the catalogue number. Maybe worth phoning them up  Otherwise send off for a catalogue and get the voucher that way if the order isn't urgent. I have already spent far too much money in my head so I am going to have to cull the list a bit before putting the order in :rotfl: :rotfl:

Soappie - thank you for the suggestion of a plant. I have brought a beautiful, delicate white hydrangea which we are calling Eddie. It helped me break the news to the younger too. They asked if it was for Grandma for Mother's Day and I said yes and then went on to explain about her passing. They were both incredibly sad but are ok. They want me to take them to Grandma's house in a minute. DS3 wants her walking stick as she used to pretend to try to catch him with it when he ran around her chair. DS2 wants to look and see what he would like. I've explained the house will not be passed back until we have removed all the belongings but they are in a rush so am trying to play it by ear with them.

DS3 also wants to borrow tadpoles from a neighbouring pond again, nurture them and then return them so DH has that to do this afternoon too.

    Right off we go

    Weekend list
A chance for the whole family to get involved and share the tasks!

    3. Get all the stuff ready for Monday[strike]
    4. Catch up one room to level three
    5. Wash any neglected windows

    9. Empty and wash out all the bins
    10. Do a cupboard stock take and sort a meal plan and shopping list
    11. Wash any bedding that hasn't been done this week
    12. [/strike]28 fling boogie
    13. 5 things on ebay
    14. fill a binbag for charity shop
    15. [strike]Clean out pets/wash beds [/strike]
Shopping all done, washing out on line with dog blankets in the washer, then just a cleaning wash left to do with lemon juice

Caved in for the dine in for £15 meal from M+S and got a large chicken (£10.50), profiteroles, 2 bottles of elderflower presse and a large tray of new potatoes for tomorrows lunch for mother's day. Profiteroles for tonight and then making a pud for tomorrow. My first attempt at a steamed pud and custard!

Can't be bothered to do much more, not listing any more on ebay until tomorrow night as have 19 items on already and 2 bids on things I would have given/thrown away, so I am very pleased they are going to a new home. I am going to photograph some more things ready to list tomorrow. Boring!

Dusty, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how hard this is, even when it may seem like a blessing in some ways it is still difficult to come to terms with and my thoughts are with you at this time.

Toots, I hope you are ok, not sure what treatment you had? Hope you are ok and resting if you need it.

Pigen, thanks for the lists they have helped me beyond belief while I have been off work with the whiplash, kept me busy and a bit more ordered instead of sitting in front of QVC all day spending money I don't have :D :T

My house is in much better order and cleaner! I no longer have a fear of clearing out and throwing away if needs it, listing on ebay or giving to charity shop. My pan cupboard is the next big sort and I am only putting back what I will use and everything else can go. Still some way to go mind but I am now in a better trained frame of mind and need to maintain this to carry on.

It has taken a couple of months for me to get to this level and train myself. The next big task is how I will do it when I go back to work. The weekends will be a bit more filled with housework tasks I think

Take care all you lovely people out there and have a lovely weekend, you deserve it! :A

Just received a governors report which mention an Ofsted inspection- didn't know it had happened. Gone really down hill and very upset although I don't know the outcome- with me off though due to stress I fear the worst. I can only hope that the blame was able to be put on me so that the school is not forced down a certain path.

Phil - I don't think one person can make a school completely fail, you shouldn't be so hard on yourself.

All my washing is dry and put away. I've cut the grass back and front and swept up. Then I took everything out of the shed, put a couple of boxes in the recycling bin, put a tiny bit of bark chippings on the border (why did I keep a cupful?). Then I swept it out and put the gardening stuff back tidy. Everything in there is necessary (stepladder, bike, lawn mower and gardening stuff, cat box), it was easy to do it today because everything is so dry.

DH and DS still doing stuff with wood, they just got back from buying more. Ah well, keeps them "quiet".

Dusty - a white hydrangea - that'll be lovely - it will help - I'm glad you took up the suggeston. Whenever I water my Lily, Margaret, I think of my Mum.

Philb - don't beat yourself up about the Ofsted. The fault shouldn't just lie with the head - the whole school should be working as a team.

Just been out and done the shopping. Spent minimal amount of money in Mr T's which was good. The weather is a bit warmer now and nice and sunny so I'm off into the garden in a moment to plant up some more seeds in more pots etc. I'm determined to be able to eat my own produce this year!
