Bank of Ireland 4.1% fixed rate bond (12 months)

I was just wonderin if anyone had heard about the bond also if anyone had any details about whether money was safe and is it under the government 50k guarantee. Thank you!

money is guaranteed by the irish scheme and not uk €20,000 to €100,000 per depositor per insitution.
