It would depend on how easy to remove the units and worktops, and if there was any damage to units and worktops on removal.
If you or your hubby are ok at diy it is not hard to remove the units or modify them to take fitted appliance's.
The extra cost would be the doors of the units to fit to the appliance if they are different to normal doors.
Call to b& q and just compare the units and doors to see what difference's they are between them.
The units might be reniforced but i think that would just be Brackets under the bottom shelf.
if in doubt ask someone in store then ask another kitchen place just to comfirm what was said.
Hope this helpsSpending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0 -

If the worktops have to be removed then its not an option. I have worktops & then upstands & then tiles, all sealed in.
The upstands have been drilled & screwed & the countersunk holes filled with black putty/wax so they are invisable.
Thank you.0 -

No fitted appliance'sSpending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0 -
Oh Dear!!!!!!
No fitted appliance's
I should have done it when we moved in & fitted the kitchen, but we had soooooooo much else to do, I couldn't justify replacing appliances that were only two years old.
I will try & time it with my next kitchen, that the appliances need changing when the kitchen is being done;)0 -
You could still do it;
Plan where you want the appliance's then;
1 pull the plinth off this should just be clipped on to the legs the units you want to change
2 unscrew the units from the wall and worktop and each other
3 wind the legs of the units up so there is clearance between the units and the worktop
4 pull out the units one or two at a time so the work top is supported and does not move
5 Refit
Dead easy!Spending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0 -
Erm... my Miele washing machine was £550 (Prestige Plus; I know they don't do it anymore but the equivalent's about the same) and I bought a Miele tumble dryer a couple of months back for just over £500. They've gone up since then, but you could definitely do it for less than £1800! Are you looking at the really top of the line whizzy bangy ones? Because I'd recommend my two to the ends of the earth and back

I know you said you hate hotpoint But
Have you thought of the Hotpoint FDD912 dishwasher £341, and the TCD 970 Dryer around £300 ish.
Both look the same and the dryer is very quick and the Dishwasher you dont even know its running.
We got ours from dixons and with the discount even cheaper.
Also when we restister them on hotpoints web site the extened warrenty can be cheaper that domestic and general on some of the machines.
There is six of us and if you need adivce on a fridge i have just got one of them also after seeing which one held 4x six pint milk bottles.
Hope this helps.
Is it a 60cm fridge you bought that holds the 4x6 pints we need a new large fridge. We have 2 fridges at present because the kids dring so much milk. What make please?0
