My partner used Automotive Tyre cleaner on our bathroom with a wheel cleaning brush. It is very very strong stuff and to be used with caution (plus our bathroom is very old so we don't really care if the bath is scratched and I'm not sure what it would do to lovely polished White plastic). It did get the mould and scum off a dream though and was really easy to use.

We did wear gloves, open the window and rinsed lots (as I was worried cat might get it on his paws).
