Looks clean to me Quasar (Though id remove those that Browntoa suggested)

You seems to have quite a few toolbars running though. Id remove all that you dont use (Personally I only use the google toolbar)

I see you have sunbelt firewall. Does the net load up pages ok? When I tried it, it randomly failed!

AVG7 has a poor detection rate and no anti spyware. Upto you but id be thinking of upgrading that (Personally I use AVIRA anti virus)

Are you running the Malwarebytes scan?

I don;'t use yahoo, google and msn toolbars, but I use occasionally the ImageShack one as I can upload screenshots etc. with it.

I switched to Sunbelt Kerio when I got rid of Spygate (after in turn getting rid of Norton), and never had problem. I have it also on the other lappy, a 6 year old Toshiba, and an ancient Packard Bell lappy from 2000, still on W98!

Yes I regularly run malwarebytes, spybot, superantispyware and ad-aware. Usually one or two of them pick some tracking cookie but nothing major so far. AVG once picked up a virus and put it in the vault.

Fool's luck as I said on the other thread. :o

    no no

Ones a dead file and the other just uses resources needlessly

Ok., Even so I will take my betters' advice and remove the stuff. So I just tick it on the scan? I'll have to run it agan as I got out of it.

You sound like a 'safe surfer' to me. So your unlikely to have any trouble anyways from the sounds of it.

Dont be suprised if Avira picks something up though should you install it

Be a good idea to uninstall all the toolbars you dont use then. I accidentally installed the yahoo toolbar the other day and it slowed down my dual core 3 Ghz computer!
Id certainly get rid of all 'Wanadoo' toolbars etc

Hmmm wanadoo is what I use. Can I still browse without these toolbars? I never use Yahoo and it's not showing up in my Remove Program list.

I think I am a safe surfer as you say, because I'm suspicious of links in genereal lol, and also I run ccleaner every day. Plus the various security programs once a week, at least most more often about three times a week. :)

Well if it hogs resources I'm happy to delete it. I was just wondering because Orange (ex-wanadoo) is my ISP, but that doesn't matter as long as I use the IE toolbar does it?

You don't need any toolbars to get online, in IE or otherwise.

See how little I know? Yet I'm apparently a safe surfer. There must be angels up there then.. :rotfl:

Ok will get rid of them. It tells me to close the browsers, so I'll do all that later before logging out. :)

Thank you all for your help :A

Like I said ~ I use GOOGLE toolbar to 'search' (as well as get to my emails, save bookmarks etc). But you could just as easily save the google.co.uk page as the HOME page and search from there (Meaning no toolbar needed)
