    I was worried about getting just the pillowshams if the cover was out of stock but luckily my order status has changed to 'in progress' and i have only 1 item which was the hair clippers which are out of stock and have been refunded.

    Im pleasantly suprised as with the low low prices i thought a lot of my items would have been sold out. So out of 46 items and only 1 is out of stock thats pretty good going. ( not all mine i would like to add, i phoned around to see what others wanted before ordering) honest!! Could have got well carried away and ordered more but had to delete items and take it down to a reasonable amount. Still came to £211 though!! And i thought this was supposed to be a moneysaving site!!!!

    I cant wait to get it all. Is it just me or does anyone else get all excited as if its xmas again when they get big parcels of stuff to open??? :j

    Have sent them an e-mail to cancel shams, cant see much point in just having them.

  • I am the project manager who has set this site up.
    It is for Express gifts who also run Studio24 and Studio mail order so you can shop with confidence. We have only been live for 1 week so experiencing 1 or 2 problems but these will be resolved so stick with us.
    If anybody has been charged incorrectly please email customer care who will sort it straight away. The stock is typical surplus from our mail order trade so will change regularly so keep looking.

    hello Project Manager........ not sure if ure for real :think: but if you are...... im just curious, did u set the site up yourselves? ive wroked on websphere commerce systems and no the sort of teething probs you say youve had in later post, some of the probs were makin people abit worried about you being a pukka site so i posted a couple of times about it, ill PM you may email address for the commission soon no bother!! - u must have made a wad out of MSErs alone!! also do you no emphatic hank by chance :rotfl: he (or she) has got to be on the payroll :rolleyes2 !!

    The site is so much faster now, much better than the weekend. Only taken me 15mins to order and pay. Overthe weekend, it took me over an hour and then it cut me off. Well pleased.
    No reliance should be placed on the above.

    I've just placed an order, and just as I've hit the submit button I've had "Generic Application Error" come up as my next page, should I wait for an email to turn up? Won't refresh the page...just in case my order gets duplicated, bit worrying as I had put in my card details.....

    Went into my account and had to delete on of the items, as it must have lterally gone out of stock....if whoever designed this needs any help...give me a shout....need to iron out those little niggles, cos apart from that it's a pretty decent site....

    got my order this morning,over the moon with quality/price/service fantastic!!!!! :beer: well packaged aswell :T

    oh my account still shows as in progress :confused: so dont worry too much about waiting for it to go to despatched,made my order on the 23rd

    There may be bargains to be had on this site but the website is SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW and the Customer Service is even slower!!! I ordered a pair of shoes, screen said size 7, email confirmation said size 10! :mad:

    I emailed them straight away and told them of this mistake and all I got in reply was "You should have checked!" :eek:

    WELL.. the only option I am left with is when they EVENTUALLY arrive (could be 10-14 days!) to send them back AT MY OWN COST for a full refund (less postage!) ...so for a £5.99 pair of shoes PLUS £3.99 postage less about £5 to send them back I'll actually get a refund of £1 if I'm lucky!!!!!!! :confused:

    I certainly won't be using the website again!

    I don't know who emphatic Hank is, I wish I did because we could then have been tracking all these very useful comments on the site much earlier. As you correctly spotted, we have built the site using Websphere Commerce and this is new technology for us - 24Studio, for instance, is not a Websphere Commerce site. Payment by credit card is also new for us as our main Studio business operates on an account basis. The plan was to get the site up for a week or two to enable us to iron out the glitches before we started promoting through Google, AOL and etc. (some of you noticed that you could not find it on the main engines for the first week or so although it should start showing up now). We recognised that we needed some orders in this start up period, though, so we just asked staff to put the word out among friends and family thinking that we would only get a handful of orders over the first few days to enable us to bed in the site and corresponding back office processes - we were (pleasantly) surprised when we got so many orders but it wasn't until Monday this week that we realised where they were coming from when I got pointed at this site (one of the team found the thread when browsing MSE over the weekend) - which is when I made my first post. So, again, apologies for any issues you might be having but the volume of the response has taken us somewhat by surprise. We have now fixed a lot of the issues we were having over the first few days so we hope you will find using the site a lot easier than it has been. Again - just a reminder - the site is being used initially to clear out surplus where we have low stock volumes so these prices are not going to last forever. Hope this answers your questions. Keep posting and I will keep checking. Getting live customer feedback is great. Thank you all very much.
