Is this software only to be used for non copyrighted items as surely some would think that Sony are endorsing the fact that people can copy films and convert them to their PSP via the software that Sony released?
Sony also make video recorders, DVD recorders, mini-discs, etc.
I would imagine, if you check the documentation, it will say somewhere that it is not intended to be used for the copying of copyrighted material. The Sony connect website has some film files and trailers that can be downloaded to the PSP but cannot remember the website address
These are all safe to use as Sony will have bought the rights to distribute those particular files. The chances are, they are all probably owned by Sony anyways.
