*UPDATE*
New letter received this morning from a solicitor firm. Getting very worried now as legal action is threatened within 7 days. Letter replicated below.
'Dear Sir/Madam,
Our Client: eBay Europe SARL
We have been instructed by Intrum Justitia in relation to your outstanding account in the sum of £XX.XX.
Unless our client receives payment in full or a valid reason for non payment of the account with the next 7 days, Court proceedings may be taken against you without further notice.
Should Court proceedings be issues, you may be liable for Court fees and solicitor costs which will significantly increase you balance.
In addition, if Judgment is entered against you, it may impede your ability to obtain credit in the future.
Should you wish to avoid such action you should phone our clients on (telephone number) and one of their advisors will discuss the matter with you.
Please not, we are instructed not to enter into correspondence with you at this sate but refer you to Intrum Justitia. You can contact them on the number above or at the address on previous correspondence.
Yours sincerely,

Nothing, you've advised them the debt is not connected to you, that should be good enough.Truly.Yours wrote: »I am very worried, please advise: what should I do? Thank you.
If they continue with litigation, you have sufficient grounds to defend, and counterclaim, should you require advice with that, please post back here.
One other point, please consider reporting them to both OFT and your MP.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0 -

Yes, include your name & address within your covering letter, send both the original letter and the letter threatening litigation, also include your letter informing them you have no association what so ever with the alleged debt.Truly.Yours wrote: »Should I include my name, address,. ect?Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
