An Asda sim should work in a Vodafone locked phone but not the other way round.

It probably won't work. If the method of locking Asda mobiles is the same as Tesco and Virgin, all of whom are virtual networks running on a larger carrier.

The normal method of locking means that generally an Asda SIM will work in a locked Voda handset but a Voda SIM will not work in a locked ASDA handset.

However, someone once mentioned that they thought that ASDA handsets were unlocked anyway but I have no experience if this is true or not.
  • The last time I looked in Asda, they were saying that all their fones are unlocked.

If the information you were given is correct then I will be making use of it! I'm quite happy to have an Adsa SIM but need a handset that I can put a Spanish SIM card into when I'm over there.
