There are a couple of ESS's at our agility club, there's a huge difference in the thickness an texture of the coat. They look quite manageable compared to our Cocker.;)
I'm lucky he has fairly short ears and correspondingly shorter hair. So I'm fairly fortunate that they don't take too much work to keep right. I have seen some horror stories with matted ears...yuck.0
