bt mac code means no cancelation for 30 days???

trying to change isp.

took me 25 mins to get mac code off bt, swapping to blueyonder who dont need a mac code it turns out although i thought they would

now bt say i cant cancel because they gave me a mac code!!

i thought changing isp was supposed to be easy!!

sorry, it seems if you insist and stand your ground they will give in and cancel it.

this can be deleted now.

if you migrate - you dont want to cancel, as it will cease your line, causing migration to fail...

...not that you can migrate from bt to blueyonder anyway

yeah i know that now lol.

i was thinking of going to toucan or plus net and they both needed a mac code do asked for one but then discovered bad things about boht of those and opted for telewest instead who dont need a mac code.
