Men have NO sense of humour!

I don't think I would be able to see the funny side at first.

But my sense of humour would 'kick in' later. :) I'm sure his will too BB.

Icecube - I am just not sure why cc's would accept less money than you owe them if you are paying them what you owe them now. I was just thinking there might be a better way out than borrowing off the in laws.....it is another form of consolidating your debts. Unless you have got to the root of the overspending and how the debt accumulated you are pretty much still in the same boat...

Do you have £206 left to spare after you have paid your CC's and stuff off every month. If so you may just need to look at your CC's and pay them smarter...as in snowballing..

no we would have £206 to pay on a dmp, we currently pay out £800 a month on debt but only have the £206 to pay it with so borrow from one to pay another

You could do with going on a DMP then really icecube, although would be good to go and discuss with the inlaws as they may be able to help.

Soooooo many people have done that here. Tis not sustainable if your circumstances don't change, as you must know.

I think you need to get some advice from the organisations in my sig.
