atos medical report

Hello experts.
I was wondering if some advise could be offered.
As the title suggests it's about my medical..on Tues 10th I went for the medical, I won't go into details coz the medicals have been discussed at length in other threads.. Friday, (13th) I received a letter from xxxxxx bdc stating that I had met the threshold of the PCA because you have scored either.
at least 15 points, blah, blah physical health
at least 10 points, blah, blah mental health
at least 15 points blah, blah affecting both physical and mental health.
I think thats enough info for those who know the letter.
I get the bit about no longer sending in sicnotes and the next review in 2012.
So, just needed to put you in the picture. if I can ask a couple of questions.
1/ will I still need to attend the pathways to work meetings at the EADS every month?
2/ Now I have had the medical by atos, will the dla claim I put in on Jan 26th 09 be able to be processed now that a doctors report is available (assuming they will use the ib50 doctors report).
3/ how can one obtain a copy of the atos doctors report.(for personal records)
4/how does one obtain copy of report made to them by my GP.((as above)
5/ and how does one get a copy of the IB50 I filled in (stoopid me forgot to make a copy before I sent it off).
I have received two letters from the dwp over a four week period saying they are sorry it hasnt been processed yet and that they are waiting for a doctors report.(could this be the atos one?) I have spoken to my GP and they said they were requested a report/form back in January and that has been duly filed and sent out. So is that the IS one or the DLA one?..I'm confused as to who, is doing what, to whom..
Anyway, if that all makes sense, I thank you for any clues in laymens language please.
Roger.

You don't always have to attend the pathways to work, if you are put into a support group you don't have to go to them did it say anything about what group you have been put into?Thanx

support goups have nothing to do with incap and the pca that is for employment support allowance which the op is not claiming.0 -

thanks for replying.
just to clear things up, I'm on Income Support (sicness based) and have allready attended one pathways to work meeting before my Medical. None of the appointment letters have stated what group I am in. So far.
I'll give the DWP a ring on Monday. This board has been a great help to me in the past and will be in the future. So I just thought I would ask as Monday is a long way off.

Hi,
after your medical assessment you still need to attend the Pathways interviews. This is mandatory for claimants since 2007. The support group classification is only for Employment and support allowance claims. You can get a copy of your medical report by calling your DWP office, however if you wish to get copies of your own doctors report and IB50 you shou send a written request to DWP. Your DLA assessment is separate from the PCA medical however it should be soon completed, but give the DLA office a ring.0 -
Hi
I too am on income support and attended a PWTW interview after my medical but they didn't have the results.I explained that i had passed the PCA and what my health problems where.I was told I did not have to attend any more pathways interviews and have heared nothing since.0 -
Hi,
I think it depends when they introduced the pathways system in your area. If your claim started before that then it is not compulsary to take part in more interviews. The other possibility is that if your medical result was that you have a serious incapacity then you don't have to attend the interviews. It is then on a voluntary basis. I guess if you have been told at the jobcentre then it is all fine and you do not need to attend.0
