The £800 seats will double in price a few weeks before each concert takes place.Over 1.5 million people were trying to buy tickets from ticketmaster at the same time.If you do not have a ticket by now you will never get one.

no chance, the reason the re-sellers (actually authorised by AEG – unbelievable ) are trying to sell them in bulk to the ticket touts is they are not going to be able to sell them all, watch prices will fall massively, there are thousands of tickets for sale and over 50 thousand premium tickets, the fans have already bought the tickets they wanted no matter how crap the seats.

Who is going to buy them at £500 (real price £50/60/75) each....I’ll be happy to come back on here closer to the dates if I am wrong and say so.

AEG have actually confirmed that a small percentage (this is in addition to the vip tickets that ticketmaster still have) of each nights show have been given to the reseller this is offical, they are now taking them to court.

The plan was that they would get a share of the re-sold tickets from the re-seller at the inflated price. But the re-seller simply sold them in bulk at a discount to the touts!!! FANTASTIC serves AEG right. The reason they have gone to court is because they missed out on the profits which they touts will now get. What a company. Ask yourself if the re-seller Viagogo could have made more by letting the market decide the price (between fans from their site) wouldn’t they have done that!!!

Do you have proof of this, or are you just making libellous comments to try to make your 'vent' more valid?

"Promoter AEG Live cut a deal with ticket reseller Viagogo"

"The magazine quotes AEG Live CEO Randy Phillips as saying that "a small percentage of the house every night" had been given to Viagogo."

"Viagogo did something really bad yesterday we had no idea they were doing,” Phillips said. Apparently Viagogo then took those tickets they received from AEG and started e-mailing other secondary ticket brokers, offering them packages and discounts and thus raising the price on the secondary tickets even higher. Plus, by pushing these tickets off on brokers, neither AEG or Jackson would see the additional profits from these tickets that sold in the trinary market. AEG Live filed an injunction against Viagogo to ensure that the site actually sells tickets to fans instead of brokers."

"Viagogo offered seats for re-sale in bulk, allowing touts and other re-sellers to push up prices. A court has now ordered Viagogo to stop selling to anyone not believed to be an individual fan, until a further hearing."

Some selective quoting there (to be fair, because I don't think you understand the article)!

If you read the comments of pretty much everyone on this thread, you will see that the general opinion is that it is you that has got your knickers in a twist. I would suggest that you will get much more constructive feedback if you stop ranting at people and find some manners.

    Anyway, enjoy the show ...

Oops, you've not got any tickets! :p

I may be wrong but aren't Ticketmaster only an agency that sell the tickets on behalf of the venue/ organisers?
Surely they don't actually set the prices (they just whack hefty booking fees on top)
The way I see it is that the only people ripping anyone off is the promoters/ organisers and ultimately Michael Jackson himself!

agree more promoters then ticketmaster but their website is awful. I doubt Jackson has much to do with it, at least I would like to think he didn't. Honestly with the demand he could have sold most tickts at £100/£150 rather then £75 instead of going through this farce.
