Blackmailed into leaving good feedback?

Anybody had this? I dont know what to do. I want to leave negative feedback for the seller, but they have told me that if I do then they will leave it for me, and more is at stake for me because my feedback is between 10 and 20, and theirs is over 100. Can sellers no longer leave bad feedback? Also made the accusation that the item is damaged when I returned it, surprise surprise. If they do a chargeback (again) for damaged item, do they have to return the damaged item to me?

Go ahead and leave them -ve feedback - the worst they can do, is leave you a +ve with something nasty written in.
Everybody is equal; However some are more equal than others.0 -
Seller's can't leave negs or neutrals. If they leave a negative comment, you can have it removed.
I'm a bit confused about whether you're buyer or seller! My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Sorry, I am the buyer. I returned the item after I recieved it because the goods were fake. They have said the item is now mysteriously damaged and I have instructed them that if they insist on a further chargeback then I am happy for them to return the goods for me to take to trading standards.0

I don't know how they can do a chargeback if you are the buyer?
Surely it would be your credit card that that paid for the goods?
Either way, if you have the original money back, neg them and move on.
If they leave a false positive, then it can be removed relatively easily - http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/feedback-abuse-withdrawal.html
This is the exact reason why sellers are no longer allowed to leave negs - a few abusers spoilt it for everyone else.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
Well, I bought the goods, paid via paypal, then sent them back and I got a refund. Can they no longer reverse the refund? They claim the item is damaged and so is there a way they can tell paypal and reopen the dispute and demand money from me and I claim via Royal Mail? I have left them negative feedback and contacted ebay about the abusive emails. Also, they are now emailing me outside of ebay and directly to my email address.0

They cannot reverse the refund and they cannot leave you any feedback other than a positive, end of story, you are fine.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks, surely this is, in a sense, a loophole that has probably been exploited by many.0

Perhaps what should happen is that you can't actually see what feedback is left for you until you leave feedback yourself.0

i take it after recieving item you emailed seller saying it was not the item they described ie a fake and they said return it and you can have a refund and gave you a refund if this is correct this happened to me i left neg feedback and then they done the same saying i returned it for no reason damaged you are able to leave explanation on your feedback underneath so i just put what happened and have had no probs since then i only have same feedback as you so dont worry i think if you where seller of the item it would be problem but not as a buyer0

Yeah, they offered me refund but I went through Paypal to make sure I got the refund. They even had the cheek to suggest they only gave me a refund to keep me happy, but they werent the one that gave me the refund, Paypal did that! I think on a whole, sellers get a rough ride, but when somebody sells fakes then they should be punished for that.0
