Sky Line But O2 Broadband?

Hi, I was wondering if someone can shed some light to this.
I am currently with Sky line rental and I have Sky Talk.

I want to know if I can get O2 broadband on that line?

The best thing you can do is contact broadband sales on 08002300202

I think though, that it would have to be a BT line, paying BT line rental as I know that with Tiscali it's not possible..

You do need a "bt" type line, but who you pay the rental to is immaterial.

Although, tiscali is classed as a BT line, you can't have o2 broadband on it ;)

    Okay thanks. and another question....

To get O2 discount on Broadband, how does it exactly
work? Does one have to be an O2 customer and does this apply to PAYG?

If I to qualify for the discount, can I just get a PAYG sim?

You can get the discount on PAYG if you topup at least £10 every 3 months to be classed as a customer.. :T

To find out if your line is compatible, go to the o2 broadband site and input your phone number (as if you were going to buy). If acceptable, they will show you the anticipated speed. If not acceptable they will tell you.

Yes you can get discount on PAYG. You just need to top up £10 every 3 months.

You can apply without a number, and as soon as you have one ring them and it will be dded to your account for discount purposes.

Tiscali have talk talk type lines which are not "bt" lines.

Let me understand this, so what sort of Line is Sky line? Is it a BT type line or none BT type line?

And has anyone had O2 Broadband while paying line rental to Sky line?

Sky is a bt line. Have you tried inputting the number as suggested?
