betfair is the best and easiest to start off with they were on quidco and they have a 25 freebie when you sign up. Remember that IF YOU GET IT WRONG there is always a risk... both Hypno and I have placed them in a rush,. when tired or distracted and boh made mistakes.
Sallly, the idea is to make the most of the freebies that the bookies offer. so paddy power at the moment have a free ten pound bet for new customers. SO you would back and lay a bet using your own money, and loose potentially 30-40p of your own money depending on the odds.
THEN you would do the same with the free bet therefore ending up with about £9 of the free £10 so £9 profit. Does that makes sense?

in fact i bought a pizza for £1.80(half price) in tescos the other day, it had a voucher on it, spend £5 at galabingo.com (no great hardship if you're me!), get £5 free play and a £5 tesco giftcard... trying to convince Big G to let me use his account for it... but he's resistant! selfish !!!!!!!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Aha! Maz uses the word too! Anyone know it's origins? Have I been too sweet and innocent to notice it before?!?!

thanks for the matched betting info. Might go and look at the thread, but fear my response will be the same as Maz's!

QB - I think Snags coined it originally, it's definitely from this chat thread though, to get around the swear filter. I use it all the time now.

Wish I had some spare funds for MB, but I've spent ..... on concert tickets this month so am skint.

Nope! I'm def with Maz on the matched betting front! Looked far too complicated for me! Think I'll stick with 10p e/w bets - at least I know what I'm doing there, and hopefully I'll make my money elsewhere!

Thanks Gemmzie - Love the word, so I think I too will start using more often! DH loved it when I told him about it!

It was Linda I think, and then Bunny kind of adopted it, and the rest is history. :D
