Virgin V3 unlock?

Hi is it possible to have a motorola V3 on Virgin unlocked? I've had a v3 unlocked before but never a virgin mobile.

Yes, either spend £35.00 on credit on it and then ask Virgin for the unlock code or take it to a local market and get it done form between £5.00 to £10.00.

I've heard of "3" phone being unable to be unlocked but had never heard of anyone getting a virgin one done, just wanted to make sure before spending £150.
