Try this thread - lamb chops  I'lladd this thread later to keep ideas together.

Our favourite is to spread thinly with mustard on both sides, then dip in demerara sugar, then grill. Delicious :j

Trying steaming them in the oven. Put them in tin foil and wrap them up with a little mint sauce and add a stock cube.

Know it won't be much help for last night's dinner - lol - but check the various granular bouillion tins as I have used a commercial one of these where I used to work and double checked it was gluten free as I had a coeliac waitress and had to be careful what I gave her for lunch. Can't for life of me remember the brand though sorry but just thought I'd let you know some cheaty stock things are safe!

If you have the little book from the Coeliac Society, that will list gluten-free stock cubes/bouillon.

ah thank you for that, I do have the coeliac society book (my bible) and will take a look for stock cubes as ive had to take to making stews with bisto best gravy! :D

As for last nights dinner, after that fab idea, himself informs me as he had beans on toast for dinner he wasnt very hungry and could we have jacket spuds :o

So lamb has been put in the freezer and I have noted the boiling idea for another day
