    Try this thread - lamb chops :beer: I'lladd this thread later to keep ideas together.

    Our favourite is to spread thinly with mustard on both sides, then dip in demerara sugar, then grill. Delicious :j

    I know i know im a bloke so forgive me but are u meant to defrost the chops first cos they were really chewy! the sauce was delicious tho so i want to get it right next time...

    Ok, no idea if this is an old style dilema but your O/S are so good with left overs you are probably going to have no problems with this :D

    Ok, I have lamb chump chops in the fridge for dinner and no idea what to do with them, my main problem being . . . I have no onion/peppers/mushrooms, My son is a coeliac so anything with pastry is a no no, DH is a complete pain and wont have a roast unless its sunday oh and i am allergic to nuts and garlic! :eek:

    Can you see why im having problems? People wonder how we eat :rotfl:

    I've spent 2 hrs now looking for something I can make, please!! help me!!

    Trying steaming them in the oven. Put them in tin foil and wrap them up with a little mint sauce and add a stock cube.

    oo that sounds nice, cant do stock cubes as they have gluten in, but thank you :) now just have to think of what to put with it :D

    Know it won't be much help for last night's dinner - lol - but check the various granular bouillion tins as I have used a commercial one of these where I used to work and double checked it was gluten free as I had a coeliac waitress and had to be careful what I gave her for lunch. Can't for life of me remember the brand though sorry but just thought I'd let you know some cheaty stock things are safe!

    If you have the little book from the Coeliac Society, that will list gluten-free stock cubes/bouillon.

    ah thank you for that, I do have the coeliac society book (my bible) and will take a look for stock cubes as ive had to take to making stews with bisto best gravy! :D

    As for last nights dinner, after that fab idea, himself informs me as he had beans on toast for dinner he wasnt very hungry and could we have jacket spuds :o

    So lamb has been put in the freezer and I have noted the boiling idea for another day
