I think the vision to learn is a great opportunity. Especially for those past the age of apprenticeship opportunities.

I tried last year but I do not live in an area where the local colleges are working with vision to learn. They said to try later on but I have tried again and still no luck in this area.

I also think that a list of available colleges they work with is a good idea.

My mind not only wanders .......... sometimes it leaves completely
  • It's a good link but Scotland is out and so is Wales :(
Now you would think they would try to branch out a bit.
I have seen this offer before and tried to get them to include the rest of the country but didn't succeed

I tried to apply for the business course because although I have all the experience I don't have anything on paper to prove it to an employer.

However, the site said they don't do that course in my area :( *cries*

They do Healthy Living, Health and Safety and Healthy Eating here woohoo *does little sarcastic jump for joy*

But I already have an H&S cert and I don't think the others will be as useful for my job prospects :D

Wow, thanks for that link. I wish I had know about this when I did Chemistry at uni. It's an awesome site :T

Thanks for this thread - I'd not heard of vision2learn, but their wizard on the web course is exactly what I'm looking for.
