That allowed me to work round the problem the other day, so maybe that will work for you as well?

actually I just tried adding you Q and it worked, if I do it manually it doesnt, instead if I go into your profile and click on add user to your buddy/ignore link it would ask:

Are you sure you want to add Quasar to your contacts? yes no

and it works

I don't have an ignore list, too nosey.

But I've had no problems adding peeps to my 'contacts'.

Actually if you hover your mouse under "find all thanked posts" under a user's name in a post you'll find there is link there that isn't named and if you click it you'll go to "do you want to add ***** to your contacts list but that doesn't help with the ignore list.

Thank you, but there are enough people in this house ignoring me without doing so myself. I find if I talk to myself at least I get sensible answers! :rotfl:
