3 lost my handset

Hi,

I sent my handset, motorola v975, to 3 for repair in a pre-addressed special delivery bag that they sent. The RM website shows phone was delivered but 3 say they cant find it. They have offered a LG 8180 as replacement. I asked for the LG 8380 but they refuse.

How is the LG8180 or SE608i and does anyone know of a better way to get a better phone from them.

They have offered you a like for like phone which is fair enough thats all they have to offer but you could argue that you dont want lg and that you want a motorola as that what you chose in the first place, or suggest maybe an early upgrade?

Any particulat motorola that would be better than the hLG that they offered?

I would give them a call and find out what motorolas they would offer you, as if you go to the 3 website there isnt many motos nevermind clamshell models but if you go to a phone comparison site there are a few moto models available just whether 3 will have them, but i wouldnt go with the lg models as i heard they are very unreliable and know of someone who has had 4 phones within 2 months of starting contract.
