Any more suggestions from any of the teachers? Or even those just ready to sling mud at Gordon's plans? It is not enough to criticize without offering workable alternatives. Unless, of course, you think the system is perfect as it is.
Whereas it is of course entirely enough to cheer any loopy idea from 'Gordon'.
Perhaps you could ask 'Gordon' why virtually all the promises/expectations/proposals/understandings/etc widely discussed etc in the Labour Party prior to 1997 were ignored once he and his mates got elected. There are, for example, plenty of examples of good mass education systems in Europe many features of which could easily have been implemented here. Instead of which 'Gordon' and the gang decided, in effect, to ape the private sector but with only a fraction of the resources. Then to try to justify their foolishness the exam system was dumbed down to allow proclamations of success.
There's no lack of workable alternatives. I expect even people who know nothing about it could probably suggest something sensible, eventually, given lots of time. Unless, of course, you think it's enough to support even more absurdity from the culprits who are guilty of having created much of the current mess.0
