Bought a Tom Tom from Comet 2 and a half months ago.
It has got increasingly difficult to switch on and now won't switch on at all.
Took it back to the store and they said they can repair it but it will take 28 days and they can't send it back to me, I'd have to pick it up.
Can I demand any of these?
Thanks!

They have a right to attempt a repair. tell them, however, that if the repair is is not carried out in a reasonable time you will expect a replacement. equally, if the unit goes wrong again with the same fault you will demand a replacement.

Thanks, my problem is that I have severe pelvic pain and it's really difficult for me to get to the store which is why I was hoping they could deliver it

Just what I was thinking lol
OP - did you make sure you ran the online update for it? I had problems when I first got mine, but the first update I did seemed to sort the problem...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Sadly no. If you bought it from a physical shop then you can reasonably be expect to go back to that point for repairs etc.0

when you collect it make sure it's working perfectly before signing anything0
