Still not heard anything from either Watsons or Bottomley. The thing is, how do i get all my paperwork back from watsons if they dont answer their fones. Also i have just seen a new PPi claim company advertised on the telly. Is it worth trying again thru another company - or has the fact that Welcome FInance have put a charge on my house - ended the claim?

i really want this sorted out as its been going on for too many years now with !!!!!! all resolution and one big headache.

Hiya Leslyn, I don't know what to suggest other than to start the PPI claim off against the actual insurer if the company Welcome was not regulated at the time of your taking the insurance out. That is what people on here are doing and FOS is accepting complaints against insurers. I don't think you would need any of the paperwork other than the name of the insurer and that could be on some paperwork you have already.

I am sorry I cannot email you as I have no other help to offer. I only post on here. Perhaps someone else could email you who knows more about what you can do.

As regards the solicitors then make the complaint to the SRA as maxdp has done and they should get your documents back for you I think.

Lesleyn, I have just noticed that Petermb is logging in again so maybe picked up your pm's to him. Hopefully will be in touch with you I would think. Still though I would complain the SRA (as Maxdp did) and they can get your paperwork back for you unless peter has a different idea of what is going on.
