I'm trying to give up smoking so Boots and this website are keeping me away from the fag packet just now.
I really need a good offer to get me out of the house
    (maybe nicotine patches on offer?)
I thought nicotine patches were free on the NHS?

Good luck with packing up - yesterday was my 2nd anniversary of giving up. Did it "cold turkey" (was on up to 30 a day) and haven't had a single one since, although I do still miss it! First 2 weeks were fairly miserable, but the cravings rapidly go.

Think of all that extra money you'd have for Boots!

Oh, meant to add on last post - today found the Bodyform with stickers in Wilkinsons for 99p, same as Boots offer. One door closes, another opens!

Depends on the SA's in Wilkinsons. I had one who said as the voucher was for a £1 that it could not be accepted as the goods where only 99p  I was.

All they needed to do was put it through as a 99p voucher which had been done for for me only 20 mins before by a different SA's.

    Hi joannemc3 :)

Could they not order the product in for you? Might be worth asking.

Went to boots today as I saw some Zirh prepare yesterday half price but wasn't sure if I should spend the money or not. I was certain yesterday that if I bought 2 it would be included in the £4 off £10 or more on mens. However, went back today and the signs were down and SA's said the offer was no longer on. Oh well b*******. Lol. Bit the bullet and bought one anyway.
    Hi anewman :)

Sorry to say, but you were lied to! The "£4 off mens" offer ended on 28 Feb - so if you had bought over £10 on mens on 28 Feb you'd still have had the reduction. :( (I managed it no probs.)

May be worth complaining (check post 2) to Customer Care, saying that you were given misleading information by the staff that meant you weren't able to take advantage of an offer that was still running.

Always best to check Post 1 - and if in doubt just try it anyway - it takes a few seconds to have an item deducted from the bill before the TOTAL has been rung up.

Here i am up nice and early, hoping upon hope that someone somewhere has a 24 hour boots. Or mabye a nice SA would be kind enought to post and let us all know the freebies before i head to my local for 9am.

I am all prepared this time with pen and paper, usually i try and remember items and have to head to the machine numerous times just to check i am right.

Good luck to everyone in getting a glitch from that machine

    Hi Netty :)

You speak of the infamous Cucumber/Fragrance Free skincare points giveaway of Autumn 2004? :D

Most of the products retailed for about £1.25.

Tarts were being offered up to 3 different AC vouchers:-

100 points when you bought any product in the range
125 points when you bought any product in the range
150 points when you bought any product in the range

The till was applying the points to each product purchased (in the same way as the recent EI & TS glitches).

Some bright spark discovered that if you presented the 3 different vouchers, the till would apply 100 points for each product purchased, then another 125 points for each item, then another 150 points for each item! So 375 points for each item purchased!

Although the recent TD/DR promotion was more lucrative in that you could get freebies, the Cucumber/FF is probably still my favourite Boots glitch because of the sheer number of points it generated. :)

 blimey I hope one of them glitches come along again, although saying that I never got any EI/TS/Lynx/17 vouchers so probably wouldn't get one anyway knowing my luck  !!

Baby woke me up at 5.45am this morning and wouldn't go back to sleep - I think he is just too excited about finding out what the new Boots offers are going to be ;)
