Don't forget that Company magazine has a voucher for a free Clinique lip thingy - thanks to Red Dragon I think - so we'll all be revisiting our local Clinique counter!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

oooh! i was so sad to hear teh bodyform is now back up to £1.40 or whatever it is, i dont use it i was just egtting 10 and a pack of chuddy or whatever to get a £5 skin voucher and after seeing tonnes of no7 stuff in manny and bolton reduced to under £5 i wanted to strat dioing it again on the no7 vouchers ive been hearing about, it its not realy a deal if your paying 40p a time for summin you dont use is it?
but 3 x £1 vouchers plus 50p in points, with on bodyform free, would be:
£4.20 reduced to £2.80
minus £3 (so 20p off other shopping)
plus 50p in points (or possibly 3 x 50p points?!)
get 4 lots of three and get 80p off another item plus £5 no7 voucher! yey! loop hole city!!!

I hear that the Sun pay their caption writers fairly well - perhaps you could get a part time jobUnless of course we're all the subject of an expose (there should be an accent on the final e - not suggesting anyone's a flasher  ) in the Sunday papers :rotfl:

Sorry to say, but you were lied to! The "£4 off mens" offer ended on 28 Feb - so if you had bought over £10 on mens on 28 Feb you'd still have had the reduction.(I managed it no probs.)
Oh well. That's what I thought - I assumed they had taken down the posters to prepare for tomorrow, but I asked and they said no so didn't think to ask them to try it on the till. With that and the fact that I have had SA's reluctant to see if something can be marked as half price and come up as 3 for 2 (which I bet they will have done as they did on the website later, should have just bought them.) The second post links to a page which says to contact the store manager. Not too sure I can be bothered as I only missed out on £2 on the one I got and it would cost about £3 for the bus fare back up there.
Oh well, I know to be persistent and ask them to try it at the till next time.
A big learning process. How to get your money's worth at bootsI only recently discovered these posts about boots on MSE. Only problem is a) you need to check them regularly and b) products may not be available at your own store or any nearby.
In case it helps anyone the Boots Store in the shopping centre in Bradford had stuff half price, then a poster up saying all clearance items are half that price. I got my money's worth out of that one. Can't imagine there's much left though now, and I noticed some items were priced twice the amount they were in other stores (so no real saving) but worth a look if you live there.0 -
Hi Freebie, well I reckon on the strength of your headline writing that you'll pass with flying colours :T
Though journalism could be a back up plan - you can write headlines, and you file great reports! :jGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

Hi there and welcome to the thread!
Try emailing customer services, they are usually pretty good, though can take a few days to reply. They may even credit some extra points onto your advantage card to make up for what happened, even if they don't someone should be told about the SA. :rolleyes:GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
