well i do NEED to go for my no7 "pregnant" freebies and my other Clinique sample and to spend my free £5 skin care vouchers.. but what to get is my quandry (spelling?!?!)
    Pash x

    quandary :A

I haven't anything useful to contribute to the thread, haven't been into Boots for a couple of days (and can't get my printer to work, so no Clinique voucher yet.)

For pink hair, though there isn't a 'brilliant pink' range ;) wouldn't all the colour protect varieties still do a good job of keeping colour vibrant - ie T&G and Mark Hill have got this sort of product.

  • Just been to Boots.

had two skincare vouchers so 2 more packs of TD wipes.

picked up so reduced Finish dishwasher tablets reduced to a £1 (Big Box)

Picked up my free No7 item from parenting club but the one I wanted was only £13.50 so the sales assistant told me about the Tan wipe for £1.50 so I could get my gift as well. Handed over the 250 points voucher as well and the till took it.

Also got my free Med pregnancy item - chose Bubble bath so "pregnant" partner can use it as well.

Got a meal deal - although I never get vouchers for points through AC

    Spent in total £5.49
    Total of goods £38.58
Plus picked up another 281 points

    Now want another "No7 voucher":j
  • nothing much to add either but have just checked my receipt from Boots yesterday and noticed that the young man overcharged me on 2 reduced fcuk products  . He charged me 99p instead of 85p - mum thinks i am mad to go back but an overcharge is an overcharge plus i have to go back anyway as i have some vouchers to use by tuesday.

Yesterday was a hassle, only meant to be popping in but ended up waiting ages for someone to add 100 points onto my card as the young man insisted that it had scanned ok and there were on the receipt.. i felt like saying "young man i may be new to this bootsing but i do know how many bonus points i should get" ;) :rotfl:

Yesterday I bought some vitamins and as it was over 10 quid I got the skincare voucher. After getting the vitamins home I realized they have yeast in them and I won't be able to use them. Can I take them back with the receipt even though I've already used the skincare voucher, or will they ask for that back too?

I new to this and have never returned anything at Boots before.

    Thanks in advance

I think there is a 250 extra points one in the purple bag? (Can't be totally sure as I am the one person on the list who hasn't got one ;))

Bunken - I'm sure it would be worth explaining about the yeast and at worst you ought to be able to get an exchange.

Yes, there is a 250pt coupon in the lilac bag. So if anybodys out one away for a present...take it out. They expire on 12th April.

We really need a new glitch to liven the thread up again! :D

Good luck with choosing what goodies to get for one Pash. I'm actually sat in the 'odd person' corner as I'm deliberately trying to resist the gift! While I think the bag itself is very cute all the make-up colours don't appeal to me and I have very similar skincare bits from last time's red bag.

In the last couple of months I have renewed every bit of my make-up collection so have very little excuse for splurges now...

Chin up folks - there will surely be new deals on Weds coming - 1st of a new month :D

going slightly off thread.. does anyone know of a real good foundation that is suitable for dry skin.. When i had my make over with Lancome i told the girl about my skin and she used a foundation specially for dry skin.. it (alegedly <spelling again!>) hydrates the dry parts and tones down the oily parts if you have any.. but still within 2hours of it being applied it had gone into flakes around my nose (my problem area) and accross my forehead.. glad i hadnt bought any (£20+) as i told her i wanted to see how it settled down on my skin first, they all look good at first but i am having the same problem everytime! so far im having to stick to my bodyshop tinted moisturiser which is ok but not enough coverage for a dressed up look if you know what i mean!
thanks and sorry for wandering of topic a little!
