    The Huggies starter kit contained-
    A blue 'HUGGIES' changing bag
A 300ml bottle of boots baby shampoo
    1 maternity pad
1 mini pack of Huggies baby wipes
    A medicine travel pouch.
    leaflets etc.
I got mine via a voucher from the back of the parenting mag at the pharmacy till :)

    Hope that helps :)
    Thanks for that Minxz :)

RE: the parenting mag - do you mean this is sent in the post from Boots, or is it given away or sold at the pharmacy till?

    Thanks
    Dave

I have huge eye bags too and the Clinique lady will probably recommend you to get an eye cream called All About Eyes. It costs £20  for a 15ml pot. It is meant to "diminish" under eye circles and help get rid of puffiness. DO NOT FALL FOR IT - IT'S RUBBISH!!! It has not had any effect on my eyes whatsoever, apart from the fact that my eyes became very dry when I began using it. It's a very light cream, so it made the skin around my eyes really dry and flaky. In fact, my eyes looked even worse because when I applied concealer, it all caked on top of the dry, flaky skin. It's also meant to treat wrinkles, but I'm only 14 so I can't really comment on that yet. Needless to say, it was a complete waste of money.
    Hi jaffacakes :)

Without wishing to sound really patronising, maybe it's better suited for adult skin? When I've tried Clinique DD Moisturiser, I thought it was fab, so if the eye cream is anything similar, I'd give it a try.

BTW, do you wear contact lenses? Reason I ask is that I often get dry skin around the eyelid edges - my optician referred to it as "eye dandruff". Charming! I was advised to wipe the edges of my eyelids with a cotton bud dipped in a weak solution of 8 parts warm water to 1 part baby shampoo. PLEASE check with your optician though to make sure that's suitable for your eyes. Try the opticians in Boots - they're great for giving out general advice.

I've also been told that I have Meibomian gland dysfunction - this is a blockage of the meibomian glands that lie just behind the eyelash follicles. (Think they help lubricate the eyes). Symptoms can vary but are usually a dry, gritty sensation. Vision may be smeary and lenses may feel greasy.

Again check with your optician if this sounds familiar - may be aggravating your dry eyes.

In the Fresh range yesterday found a grapefruit shower mousse, £1 and on BOGOF. It is in a silver can. It smells very strong, good for waking me up in the morning :)

Clinique have also recently bought out a new concealer called All About Eyes Concealer. It's for disguising dark circles under your eyes, and it's also meant to help to reduce puffiness. It costs £15 for 15ml, but I have not tried it yet so I don't know whether it is as useless as the eye cream which shares the same name.

Just thought I'd warn you. Have a good time and don't be pressurised into buying anything you don't want! ;)

    Hi

I recommend the TD under eye highlighter cream which I got with my skincare voucher. I find it really good for the dark circles under my eyes caused by sleepless nights (although he only woke once last night so not doing too bad!).

I can back you up in that- luckily I only bought a large trial size of this cream- but it was a complete waste of time. With eye creams I always insist on a freebie- I wont waste my money anymore. I have baggy eyes but no real wrinkles- all the eye creams are mostily for wrinkles- so are quite drying. I am trying the new clarins eye restore ( got sample) at moment and it is ok.My pal is a beauty consultant and says they use the clinique toner for cleaning jewellery !!

HAMILTON branches have no sale items and really a waste of time- no bargains, mis prices etc The central store machine never has any vouchers and in the retail park they are really job worth- question EVERY discount- plus the " bouncer aka security guard" is always snooping. Total waste of time- have to try east kilbride again.

Thanks very much Jaffa, Netty and Dave!

Am off in a min to town - looks like the whole family are coming with me

I thought that rather than buy anything after the make over I'd ask for a small sample, so that I can see how my skin reacts :D The cream that they're giving out free at the mo is nice, but a bit too heavy for a day cream for me, glad that I didn't pay for it! :p

Anyway will report back later and let you know how glam (or not!) I look :rotfl:

NB Will probably just looked really stressed as ds needs new shoes and doesn't want to go to the shops - how can I buy them with having his feet with me? And dh wants to buy a sat nav system - how much

PS Thanks to Cat too - your post just crossed with mine!

Good luck- their make up is nice but I give their skin care a miss, especially if ou have drier skin. I love decleor moisturiser etc for dry skin its a god send - but Bopots dont do it  .

The lancome eye cream is ok- it does lift bags- so see if your branch does this- and some people like the dior r60/80. Have a great time- beauty its a minefield- thank goodness for boots points to ease the pain;)
