Contains shower gel , body spray and boxers.
The 100 extra point voucher scanned okay.
Also got magnetic travel chess for the princely sum of 50p!
I am a bit embarressed that just lately , the staff give me that 'not her again' look ,and the security guard seems convinced that I'm up to no good and watches my every move!
I got the same Lynx gift set today but at £2.50 - they had dozens of boxes left - this was in Slough. Also the mens Kangol gift sets containing boxers and soap were reduced to £3 from £12. Several makes of mens xmas gift packs reduced between £1 and £3. Voucher would not work on these xmas gift sets.
I guess this just proves that different stores do sell at different prices on the reduced goods.0 -

Thats true, even in the same town!!.. the Lynx boxer gift set was £3.33 in one store in Bury after Xmas.. and over £5 in the other Bury store.. have noticed quite a few price differences between the two, and they are quite close to each other!0 -
I got the mens Kangol gift sets containing boxers and soap for £3 about 3 weeks ago. Very little of the X'mas gift sets left in the 6 Boots I am able to go to. I did get the mens FCUK hair gift set (3 items inside) for £3 the other day, the womans was for £5 which I didn't bother with.

I bought four bottles of Tixylix today for my neice....nasty cough thought I'd stock up....imagine my horror when I got home and checked my reciept
No bonus points!!! I was straight on the phone to customer services where a lovely lady searched her computer for the offer then consulted with a colleague and finally refunded me the points.......got to go and put card in machine this weekend. I said it would mean a trip into town as my local Boots doesn't have an AC machine. The lovely lady the gave me an extra 250 points for my inconvenience....Got some reduced Skin Kindly, BOGOF, as well as some reduced TS stuff. put it through in two ten pound spends and got two skincare vouchers as well. I'm learning!!!!!l Thanks to everyone on this site. :T0 -
Was in Bham High St/Union St branch today, finally used my skincare vouchers and got an Olay Total Effects Face Wash and Cleansing Milk for my mom.
Heads up for the following:-
Moroccan Rose/French lavender handcream - downstairs on reduced aisle opposite gym equipment. About 10 of each handcream left. 67p and still BOGOF - though the till didn't want to give me the Lavender one on BOGOF - young SA over-rode it!
I price checked the Calf Exerciser (someone mentioned they were reduced the other day) and they are STILL full price @ £10.
Imperial Leather Foam Burst Shower - looks like discontinued fragrance reduced to 74p - aisle end opposite the "sandwiches" tills. Normal price about £2.30 and all the full price Foam Bursts are on BOGOF.
Still had the Orange & Bergamot EDT @ £2 and large bath essence for £2.50. (may also get a further 1/3 off that price - not sure - check at the till).
Lots of "old style" packaged TS Facial Scrub in the Mens section - but all the other stuff had the new packaging. Also a few "old style" TS items on the reduced aisle downstairs.

If you buy the No 17 tanning products you get a free brush with it. The tanning wipes are the cheapest things to buy at 1.99 so it might be worth you getting this.He who smiles rather than rages is always

bham-dave wrote:I've only recently got into the habit of regularly using handcream thanks to the lovely TD giveaway, but have never found a handcream that doesn't leave some residue - none of them seem to fully absorb. (And I only use a small amount.)
I can't stand any grease on my hands - don't want to go leaving greasy hand and fingermarks all around my flat!
So usually only apply handcream before I go to bed. (Please - no jokes!)
Anyone else find this too?
Hubby has the same problem and hates feeling greasy tooPersonally I think that it's because his hands are quite rough and also he doesn't give the cream/lotion enough time to sink in! The more you try to rub it in the more natural oil and perspiration you will produce from your hands.
If I were you I'd keep up with putting it on before bed (notice no jokes :lipsrseal:rolleyes: ) and hopefully after a few weeks you will find the skin softening, and the cream will start to sink in better.
